Mestizo Latin Cocktails is a Latin and Caribbean cocktail catering concept from Utrecht, created to bring fresh handmade cocktails, warm hospitality and cultural flavour to private events, companies and festivals.
We are not just a cocktail service.
We are a mix of cultures, stories, flavours and memories — served through drinks that feel elegant, personal and full of sabor.
A LATIN COCKTAIL CONCEPT BORN IN UTRECHT
Our Story
Mestizo was born from something we personally missed in Utrecht.
After living in the Netherlands for more than 10 years, we noticed that finding a place that truly represented the warmth, music, flavours and diversity of Latin America and the Caribbean was not always easy.
That feeling became the beginning of Mestizo.
A concept created for people who miss that warmth, but also for anyone who wants to discover Latin and Caribbean flavours in a more elegant, modern and authentic way.

Our Vision
To become one of the most recognizable Latin cocktail concepts in Utrecht and the Netherlands, known for our flavour, service, cultural identity and unforgettable experiences.
Victor and Luis bring over 20 years of horeca experience, from Utrecht’s top bars to bar management and ownership, creating handmade Latin-Caribbean cocktail experiences with professional warmth and identity.

WHY WE CREATED MESTIZO
The Reason Behind
Many Latin concepts in the Netherlands focus on one country, one style or the same familiar flavours.
We love the classics, but Latin America, South America and the Caribbean are much bigger than one dish, one rhythm or one story.
There is music, Spanish conversations, family energy, late nights, laughter and the feeling of being welcomed.
Mestizo was created to bring all of that together.
Not in a generic way.
Not as a cliché.
But with taste, balance, elegance and respect for where we come from.

The Meaning of
The word Mestizo was historically used to describe someone born from different worlds, European and Indigenous.
But for us, Mestizo represents something bigger: mixture.
That idea is the heart of our concept.
Cocktails are also an art of mixing: spirits, fruits, herbs, spices, cultures, memories and emotions into one experience.
Through our cocktails, we bring together the diversity of Latin America, South America and the Caribbean: different ingredients, flavours, traditions, histories and people in one glass.
Not to separate them, but to celebrate how beautifully they can exist together.
Through flavour, smell, music, warmth and hospitality, we want people to feel the story without needing too many words.
The experience should speak for itself.

The Future
Today, Mestizo brings cocktails to events.
Tomorrow, our dream is to open our own Latin cocktail bar with bites in Utrecht.
A place where Latin America, South America and the Caribbean come together through cocktails, food, music and community.
A place where people can drink well, eat something different, hear Spanish, listen to salsa, bachata, merengue and reggaeton, and feel a little closer to home.
